Of Eden is Project of the Day at the Heinze ArchitekTOUR
Thank you for voting
On 14 October 2026 we took part in the Heinze ArchitekTOUR in Munich for the first time. The day ended with a surprise: the visitors voted Of Eden Project of the Day.

59 projects were up for the vote, 32 from exhibiting companies and 27 from architecture firms. Around 200 visitors voted on site.
We say thank you. To everyone who voted, and to the Heinze team.

The restaurant Of Eden sits right on the banks of the Spree in Berlin. Wind constantly funnels through the street gap, and parasols were out of the question because of the architecture.
Four made-to-measure Doppeldreieck sails shade the terrace. They retract by themselves from wind force 7. The project was planned by the architect Dorothee Spitz.

What this means for your terrace

Every LET sail is made to measure, yours too. Planning starts with a digital consultation by video call.
Then we run through the course of the shade on a 3D model before a sail is built. So you can see where the shade falls on your terrace before installation.
