The sun hangs low over the lake. The water is mirrored in the glass façade of a modern villa, and the timber deck around the infinity pool glows warm in the evening light. Above the terrace stretches a clearly defined textile surface – calm, precise, a matter of course.

Architecture needs calm
Projects live from clarity. Line, materiality and proportion follow a single idea. A sun sail must not disturb that idea – it has to carry it further.
That is why a sun sail BY LET is deliberately reduced. Motor and mechanism are completely hidden in the roller. All that remains visible is the taut textile surface, which defines space without dominating it.
Luxury shows itself here in reduction – and in precision.

Carefree
When the sun shines, the sail extends automatically and protects against overheating. If the wind becomes too strong, the wind sensor reacts on its own and retracts the system. So the outdoor space stays flexible to use – with no manual intervention.
Especially for exclusive villas, alpine hideaways or boutique hotels, this means maximum quality of stay with complete architectural freedom.
Made to measure, made by hand
Every LET sun sail is made in the manufactory in Upper Austria and is individually planned and made to measure. The moment when fabric and mechanism are joined is traditionally called the “wedding” at the company.
Quality assurance comes first at LET: every sail is assembled, tensioned, checked and test-run in the manufactory. Only fully quality-checked sun sails leave the building. Development, production and installation come from a single source – with a clear commitment to durability and perfection.
