Which areas should be shaded?
Pool, breakfast terrace, rooftop or spa: each area has its own requirements. In the digital consultation we look at all areas at once.
When is your hotel full?
High season, low season, all year: installation by arrangement so that operations do not suffer. In winter, as the manufacturer, we recommend retracting the sail and protecting it with the LET winter cover.
How exposed is the location?
Rooftops and hillside sites are windy. From wind force 7 (50–61 km/h) the sail retracts on its own; in a gust the fabric gives way briefly and tightens again.
What needs approval?
Depending on the municipality, building and heritage protection, a notification or permit may be needed. We are happy to support you with the application process.

Why a sun sail in the hotel

From wind force 7 (50–61 km/h) the sail retracts automatically. It integrates with KNX, Loxone and your building management and relieves your staff, because no parasols need to be set up, tensioned or collected.
We plan before the season starts, install with our own LET teams and take care of the service. A 5-year manufacturer warranty applies when service intervals are observed, otherwise 2 years. You get personal advice in the digital consultation, followed by a 3D scan and shade planning. Financing is available for business customers.

1 · Digital consultation
We look at your area on screen (30 to 60 minutes): terrace, pool area or roof terrace, façade and ground. You receive a budget recommendation from us during the consultation, your non-binding quote. Bring everyone who has a say, because everyone has different questions.
2 · 3D scan
Once you accept the budget recommendation, you scan your area with your phone. We explain step by step how it works.
3 · 3D shade planning and approval
In a separate appointment we show you the shade simulation for your area. Once you approve, we build in Upper Austria and install with our own LET teams, without subcontractors.

Yes, with limitations. The sails are so robust that they cannot break even under snow load. With a lot of snow the fabric can be pressed down to the ground. As the manufacturer we do not recommend operating it in winter. We recommend retracting the sail in winter, disconnecting it from the power and covering it with a LET winter protection cover.
