What is an end position?
In sun protection, motorised systems always use the term end position. It defines how far a motor retracts and extends a roller shutter, blind or, in our case, the sun sail. It thus defines both end points – retracted and extended. The positions are stored in the motor’s „memory“.

Why do the end positions need resetting?
Power cuts, lightning strikes or other events can cause the motor to forget where the end positions are. This happens only occasionally, and can be fixed easily without a fitter.
