The Polt family renovated their home with three children, keen on a functional garden. The small terrace with its hot stone floor was barely usable in the sun – they wanted a sail that brings shade and makes the garden a favourite spot.

The Polt family’s experience

With three children, the Polt family recently renovated their home, with great care for a functional, attractive garden. The terrace did offer shelter from wind and rain, but in direct sunlight it was barely usable due to its small size and the stone floor that heated up sharply. A fitting sun sail was to put this right.

The made-to-measure garden sun sail was fitted exactly to the garden’s layout and blends harmoniously into the overall picture. Effortless control and modern technology

The garden sun sail is easily controlled by remote or Alexa command – even the children manage it with ease. Fully integrated into the smart-home system, it also opens or retracts automatically when needed – even while away on holiday. Thanks to its wind sensor it reacts reliably to changing weather and protects itself in a storm. Rain drainage works perfectly: no spray, no puddles – everything stays dry even in heavy rain. For the Polt family the sun sail is a piece of Mediterranean living with maximum comfort.
