Made-to-measure electric retractable sun sail – rain and sun protection for the family
For a modern detached house in the Machtring, LET developed an electric retractable sun sail that integrates seamlessly into architecture and everyday life. The family wanted reliable protection from sun and rain, a cooler indoor climate in summer and pleasant afternoon shade – with no compromise on comfort or aesthetics. All stainless-steel components and the fabric roller were individually made in the in-house manufactory, tested and delivered protected. The result: an elegant solution that unites technology, design and function – controlled at the touch of a button or fully automatically.
Design concept
Precise CAD planning, made-to-measure production, fast installation. The sun sail blends harmoniously into the overall look of the house – fabric colour and proportions exactly matched to the architecture. The retractable technology responds flexibly to weather and time of day, the smart home system does the rest.

An end to parasols
The combination of Doppeldreieck and single sail shades large areas reliably – without the chaos and effort of conventional parasols.
Integrated into the home system
The sails are fully integrated into the home system and easily operated at the touch of a button or automatically – ideal for hospitality.
Automatic safety
A wind sensor ensures automatic safety: in strong wind the sails retract by themselves, protecting both material and guests.
