Made-to-measure terrace cover in Linz
The terrace of this semi-detached house sits right on the boundary – barely any room for posts or cantilevers. LET planned the structure to the millimetre: a Trapez sun sail spans the whole outdoor area, combined with a stainless-steel roof that lets through not a drop in rain. The result: a made-to-measure terrace cover that looks as if it had always been there.
Design concept
Trapez sun sail and stainless-steel roof in one structure: the combination guards against sun and rain alike – and blends harmoniously into the home’s architecture.
The tight space at the semi-detached house called for precision. The structure reaches exactly to the boundary – with no compromise on the terrace’s protected area.
The stainless-steel roof fully closes the gap between house wall and fabric roller. No rainwater reaches the terrace – even in heavy rain.
Sun in summer, rain in autumn, cool spring evenings: this made-to-measure terrace cover creates an outdoor area you can use all year round.
