A well-designed roof terrace canopy provides optimal protection from the sun, rain and wind, ensuring that the outdoor area can be enjoyed at any time. The electric trapezoidal sun sail is mounted directly onto the roof and provides extensive shade. Thanks to its taut tension, the sail remains stable even in the region’s strong morning winds, whilst the bespoke stainless steel box safely protects the shaft and fabric. Whether for a relaxed breakfast or children playing – this solution guarantees maximum comfort on the roof terrace.

Design concept

To provide guests at LOIDL’s Guesthouse with year-round comfort and an outdoor area that can be enjoyed whatever the weather, a bespoke roof terrace canopy featuring an electric trapezoidal sun sail was installed.

At LOIDL’s Guesthouse in Traunkirchen, an electric trapezoidal sun sail has been installed to create an elegant and functional canopy that makes spending time on the roof terrace a pleasure whatever the weather. The clever design withstands the region’s strong morning winds whilst providing pleasant shade and protection from the rain. The bespoke system was mounted directly onto the roof and is perfectly protected by an elegant stainless steel casing. Whether enjoying breakfast with a panoramic view or an evening glass of wine – this roof terrace canopy transforms every moment into a moment of pure relaxation.
