Balcony awning:
Retractable and motorised

A view of the lake that complements the architecture
Our sun sail spans a large balcony and blends seamlessly into the shape of the roof. Thanks to its clean lines and minimal number of fixing points, the view of the lake remains unobstructed. The lower sections of the outer columns are finished in dark anthracite, which matches the railing. This makes the columns virtually invisible to the eye.
Design concept
Thanks to its bespoke design, the sail blends seamlessly into the modern roofline without compromising on views or style – a well-thought-out solution for sophisticated outdoor spaces.
The slender columns and the concealed fabric roller blend in with the shape of the roof, making the awning virtually invisible from the outside.
The minimalist design preserves the transparency of the façade, allowing light and views to pass through unobstructed – even when the sail is extended.
Despite its technical sophistication, the design remains clean and modern – ensuring that the sun sail becomes an architectural statement rather than an eyesore.

Challenges and Solutions
The innovative solution
The solution came in the form of a retractable sun sail. This innovative system not only provides effective protection from the sun and rain, but also blends almost invisibly into the existing architecture of the house. The slender columns, just 60 mm thick, and the high-quality, tensioned fabrics blend seamlessly into the shape of the roof and are barely noticeable from the street.
