Design concept
Premium sun protection on the company terrace does more than change the feel of the outdoor space – it directly shapes the working environment, staff satisfaction and company image. The following three design themes sum up the concept:
The large, open roof terrace with its pale tiled floor reflected the sun so fiercely that it was barely usable by day in summer – and it is exposed to wind on all sides. A single, wide sun sail with a roughly eight-metre motor roller now turns it into a comfortable place to work, relax or host events.
At a corporate event with around 70 guests, heavy rain struck of all moments – everyone stayed under the sail, the water ran off to the sides and the evening continued undisturbed. At the same time the solution blends seamlessly into the architecture and leaves a lasting impression on applicants and visitors.
At the touch of a button the sail extends in moments – say when the team cooks and eats together outside at lunchtime. The wind sensor handles the rest: in a storm the system retracts on its own, so you can happily forget to switch it off – minimal effort, maximum safety in daily operation.
