The latest technology and stylish design combined
The ACP IT Solutions, a leading IT service provider in Salzburg, is known for its innovation and its prestigious presence. Six years ago, during an extensive refurbishment, CEO Anton Pesendorfer chose to install sun sails by LET. Impressed by the unique patent and the high expertise of the LET team, the decision fell to LET Sonnensegel to shade the terrace optimally and enhance the company’s outdoor areas.
Design concept
As part of an architectural redesign, ACP Salzburg chose premium terrace shading by LET that combines function, design and comfort to perfection.
Three independently controllable sun sails allow individually adjustable shading – suited to changing weather and different uses. For an IT firm it mattered that the shading itself works smartly: an umbrella would not have suited the digital brand.
The recessed mounting with an elegant weather-protection cover makes the sails an unobtrusive part of the building and preserves its clear forms.
The weather protection is operated via ACP’s building automation by switch and app – so simple that anyone on the team can use it. When a storm brews over Salzburg and everyone has long clocked off, the sail retracts on its own thanks to the wind sensor. No one has to remember.
